So far its doing the job. My first experience with a zodiac product, time will tell if my opinion will change.
Easy to assemble and configure. Scrubbed floor and walls of kidney shaped pool but struggled to climb stairs.
This manta styles cleaner is amazing. Goes up walls horizontally and even vertically which was a surprise to me. The pool is cleaned quicker than I thought, too. Highly recommend.
Overall, we love it, it does a great job cleaning our pool. With rebate (hopefully we’ll receive the cash card in 6-7 weeks with no problem!), it was a great price. Question: all setting seems to be right and the unit works great, however, it never climbs up to the waterline, just half of the wall and reverts, any idea why?

At 1st I couldn't figure out how to to get it to work but after I did I was amazed. I just connect it to the side cleaner give it 5-10 mins than ther she goes. Love it!!
This is my 2nd MX8. I have rebuilt the 1st 3 times (motors and drive belts last about 15 months under heavy use). I purchased the 2nd since the 1st unit hoses are now beginning to break down and it is cheaper to buy the unit with the rebates than to buy a new set of hoses and more repair parts. Overall the MX8 Elite is the best suction side sweeper that I have owned. It performs as advertised and covers the entire pool. Sales experience pleasurable. Warranty process convenient. Have only had product 1 day, however there is a visible difference in pool
Love the product but the on line rebate program was not user friendly
My pool perpetually had dirt settle almost every evening after the pump shut off even if I vacuumed and swept. After the first day (and ever since) I wake up to a spotless pool. Only one minor drawback, we have a solar heater, when it goes on the Max 8 operates very slowly. I am not sure if there is a way to adjust for the changing pressure in the line.
