Best suction cleaner on the market
This cleaner works pretty well, except it does not climb rounded walls. Since my pool is free-form design with natural curves, the MX8 is not able to grip the contoured walls and slips off.

The Zodiac MX8 Elite is versitile. It performs so much better than other kinds of pool vacuums I've used. I really like the way it scrubs the waterline as it pivots and cleans every accessible surface. It can't climb and clean the stairs, but that's ok. It does a great job on the rest of the pool. Really glad I bought it. Saves me a lot of time and effort.

The mx8 does a fine job of cleaning the areas it can reach. It struggles in curved areas and cannot clean the stairs. Other than these minor limitations, it's a little workhorse. Does a great job at the water line. No regrets about this purchase. It's a keeper.
