Zodiac MX8 Elite Suction Cleaner
About this business
This is our second mx8 cleaner. The first lasted about 6 years with one complete rebuild and a 4 of pairs of tracks. I was able to turn it into and elite when I rebuilt it. The pool was just remodeled so we decided to replace “Wally 1” with “Wally 2”. Don’t care for the price of the hoses too much but the cleaner works works very well with the exception of the steps it refuses to clean them as did number one. Very good cleaner for the price compared to the other ones out there.

I am not a fan of the hose connector. Sometimes it separates and is annoying compared to my old Hayward hose. Otherwise, the vacuum does very well.

This cleaner is AWESOME!! Once you figure out the yellow thing going around in 20 to 25 seconds, it is so cool!!! My pool is “HELLA” clean!!

Absolutely the best pool cleaner we’ve ever had.! It even cleans the tile line. The cleaner is far superior to anything out there and works great at 60% pump speed.

So far we like it. 1 downside is the hose. You would think because the Links just twist apart it would be great to shorten or extend the hose but when we pull the vacuum out of the pool to swim we loose the vacuum to the bottom of the pool every time! The hose twist apart abs separate too easy.

It was pretty easy to assemble and works great. Hopefully the scrubbers and drive belts won't wear out too quickly and are not too expensive
