Barracuda G3 Pool Vac Easy to assemble and hook-up. Simple operation. A note to those that have old style drains, not VGBA complaint bottom drains, the cleaner fins will get stuck in your drain. We have the old style hat or dome drain and have to replace it in order for the cleaner to work.
Out of the box and working like a champ With Santa Ana winds depositing so much sand my filter was caked with mud, this barracuda just chomped thru it all clearing months of cloudy brown water in three days. So much quieter than other suction side cleaners (wahoo), I am a very happy customer.
well. The Baracuda is a great cleaning system that needs very little attention. It just keeps cleaning well. Once in a while you need to replace the diaphragm but that is about it. Don't get caught up with generics that don't clean as well. The last Baracuda I had lasted me over 5 + years. It cleaned the pool floor and walls until it's last breath. I've never had a vacuum last that long and clean so well with no maintenance costs to speak of.

Exactly what I wanted I have had Baracuda G3's for a number of years. They are a great product, the only thing you may have to do is replace the diaphragm every 2 years.
Fantastic suction pool cleaner I got this suction cleaner to replace my zodiac pacer that I had for about 10 years. Parts needed to be replaced and it seemed cheaper to just buy a new cleaner. This cleaner works so well and in no time had cleaned my pool which had dirt and pine needles in it from over the winter. I do have a screened in pool, so don't get any large debris in it, just the stuff that comes off the pine trees and manages to get through the screen.
