Our previous Jandy pump lasted 10 years which is great since we live near the ocean and the salt air is destructive. This new pump seems much quieter.

My previous pool was Pentair with my new pool being Jandy. The Pentair pool has mostly 20 year old technology as a base, replaced with newer parts as needed over the years. That said, this Jandy FloPro pump is not better than my rather old Pentair SuperFlo VS pump. I have replaced the pump on my 20-year-old Pentair pool 3 times now with the latest one being the Pentair SuperFlo VS. The pump lasted 6 years. Always had pool maintenance done weekly. The installer suggested 10 when we first put in pool. On my second one now.
