Dr Jacki is fantastic! if you have a pet that does not do well going to a Vet's office, then this Vet is your answer. Dr Jacki Bert is a very caring, knowledgable vet who comes to your house, so your pet does not stress out. Our cat would get himself so worked up and anxious going to the vet that he was sick 1 to 2 weeks afterwards. If you need to have your pet cross the rainbow bridge, Dr Bert helps you through that as well. We recently had to go through that. :( Call her! She is great! You will not regret it.
Our very large (120ish pound) American Bulldog is extremely sensitive to just about everything. His comfort zone includes his house and yard; his humans and our other dog.. Getting him out of a car and into a strange environment would seriously stress him out. When it was time for his shots, McAbee Vet recommended we try an in house vet. Dr Jacki is WONDERFUL! Dr. Jacki cared for our lab Monty for several years. Always provided care with the highest level of knowledge and professionalism. Words cannot express our appreciation for her compassion while performing his euthanasia. At a very difficult time for our family she provided comfort and dignity for Monty...and for us! Seriously if you have ever spent longer than 5 minutes in a car with an unhappy cat in the carrier next to you, you will appreciate the beauty that is a vet who will come to you. With three cats needing their annual shots, two of whom want to kill each other under the best of circumstances we were thrilled to find Dr Jacki and Adam so we could avoid the stresses of another car trip to the vet on everyone, human and feline alike. Dr. Jacki and Adam were great!! My 13 year old lab Moose was not doing well. He weighs 95ish lbs and I could not carry him to the car and he was not walking. I called them first thing in the morning and they were at my house by 11am - I was lucky they had an opening. They treated Moose very well and understood my concern. I am looking for a new vet for my chocolate lab and saw the great reviews and scanned their website to get to know the veterinarians and their background. I called on June 5th at 9:48a.m. and the "awesome human" which i thought was a cute touch and made me giggle was in fact NoT awesome.. I wasn't thrilled with this place. The reception area leaves a lot to be desired. The vet I saw seemed to be overly interested in whether my 15 yr old yorkie had a distemper shot. I don't have vaccination records going back 14 yrs. He's up-to-date on all his vaccines & it seemed irrelevant to why we were there.

We were very disappointed with our experience at this clinic. I spent a great deal of time with Hannah on the phone since we have a very anxious dog who can become aggressive when she feels threatened. I was assured that they were able to handle such animals. Our first visit was unsuccessful so we decided to medicate her for the second visit which we had done previously at another clinic and we were successful. Thank you for expressing your concerns. We pride ourselves on handling pets with compassion. While we wish we could have trimmed Harley's nails, that became impossible when she bit two employees. My staff safety is just as important as our patient's safety. We had other options, which we offered and declined. I will not ever knowingly put my staff in harm's way and require that our clients support us on this. We are not right for each other yet we truly hope you can find care for Harley at another clinic.
