I was there a few weeks ago with some ladies who were visiting for the first time. We sat in the open bar area near the outside patio. We were there about 5 minutes or more before anyone ever acknowledged us as they passed by several times going to other tables. Finally, a young African American male came to say he would be our waiter and gave us menus. We had to ask for water. We had heard good things about this place. The strawberry lemonade was great and then it was down hill from there. One of menus had mustard smeared on it and three of the four people in our party had dirty silverware. The manager offered to make it right, but was understanding when we decided to leave.
Don't buy the fajita meal with the chicken and steak. I think they went and purchased the chicken fajita and the beef fajita packages from Walmart and put it in a pan and fried it up with some green peppers and onions and send it out to me I could've done that myself it was horrible. Don't buy it cost too much money you can buy your own fajita somewhere and make it yourself!!!'
Visiting from out of town at 54 Street during happy hr. Our server 219 Trevor R. didn't honor happy hour price. I feel robbed it was about a good 50$ that he keeped. Check your bill, since employees can't be trusted!!!
So, I went to 54th Street, and let me tell ya, the food was good. First, there were these fried pickles - super crunchy (although I don't care for the spears). Then, the lemon pepper wings hit the spot with their tangy and spicy vibe. The gringos cheese dip was like a warm, cheesy hug with the chips. For the main course, we got shrimp and steak. Shorted DoorDash my entree. Blamed DoorDash. Would not offer credit or free re-order. Clearly their issue. Not good.
The service was terrible and the staff was very rude. I will not return to this restaurant again.
Let me preface by saying it was not the servers fault and she was extremely nice. We had a party of 6 and all of our food was sub-par. Before the food even came, I had to send my drink back because it had a hair in it. Our food finally came out 45 minutes after we ordered and it was cold and the silverware was dirty. We called the manager out and he had a terrible attitude and was dragging his feet on coming to our table. I do not recommend.
Hubby had the fish tacos and said they were good. The rice that accompanied them was not. I had the chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and gravy. The steak was very tough and the mashed potatoes were sweet like they had added sugar to them. Should have gone home and had a salad. Was not as we had hoped it would be.
