Don't get how this place only has 3 stars! First off, their fried pickles are AMAZING. Some of the best I've ever had. I always prefer spear fried pickles over the small fried pickles, and not only are their fried pickles spears, but they have some type of seasoning on them that give them a kick and it puts them over the top. Their burgers are great, and the fries have incredible seasoning as well. Reminds me of Red Robin seasoning! Our server was amazing! He even helped us find where we could order the fried pickles in bulk... read more
On the evening of Sunday, January 12th my wife and I walked in for dinner at around 9 pm. We decided to share a plate of the flat iron steak, crab cakes, and brussles sprouts. In addition we added a loaded baked potato. The only thing that was tolerable was the steak. The brussels sprouts were mushy and cold and the inside of the baked potato was hard and cold. The crab cakes weren't great. I don't know if that is just how they are at 54th but I've had better. My biggest problem however was the attitude of the manager. He sl... read more
I have dined here a handful of times, and it's always fine. There is something on the menu for just about everyone. There food is delivered in a timely manner, the staff is friendly, and the space is fun and unique The food is fairly good, but many of the dishes are over seasoned. The fries we ordered on multiple plates were the saltiest we've ever had. The grilled shrimp plate was also over seasoned and way too salty. If you want water they bring you a carafe, but the glasses are as small as rocks cocktail glasses or smalle... read more
Trevor is a great waiter, the lady who made my martini? knew how to make one. The Calamari was perfect, didn't like the fried peppers in it but it was flavorful. I arrived at 4:45 and Happy Hour was in full swing, great atmosphere, ambiance, and great service.
Make sure to check your receipts; they tried overcharging for 2 things. The waiter was slow to take orders and didn't have the best attitude. He failed to mention that getting a regular potato with butter only, gets charged as a loaded baked potato. Then, they up charged for a regular salad when we wanted it as one of our sides. Neither the server nor manager could provide any text on the actual menu that says any of that. The manager says, "we try to train them to tell you about it." Okay so if they don't tell the customer,... read more
Came in to eat, the hosts said it would be a 30 minute wait. 45 minutes pass and parties larger than ours would be seated first and they didn't have to wait.
Great staff! Loved it here. We came and got drinks after a long drive. Also got some mozzarella sticks and curds, good! One of them was described as spicy but we didn't really get that haha. But still good either way. Also got boneless buffalo wings, pretty good, actually really good. I had a Mango margarita made w vodka (allergic to tequila) and they made it really well! Bar was a bit slow, but our server made up for it infinitely. She was great!! Wish I would've caught her name. Love the low lighting but still can see each... read more
Great dinner on Veteran's Day!! Great service, thank you for taking care of the Military. Love 54th!!!
Love this place for lunch. We came on Veterans Day and while we aren't Veterans, they clearly were celebrating them very well. Hubby and I had the soup and sandwich lunch special. Mine was turkey with potato soup and he had chicken salad with tortilla soup. I loved mine. Husband thought his was okay but would prefer it better without the sour cream. We also had the gringo dip.
