My boyfriend and I recently moved out to Austin and we were so happy to see there was a 54th street! The best time to go is happy hour 3-6 or 9-cl!! Great food and drinks :-) Always a goodie!
We stopped in after a long day at work and really did not want to be pressured to hurry and order but wanted to have a few drinks and visit for a bit. Our waiter, Frank was very patient and checked on us (with a genuine smile) periodically and continued to refill our waters and asked if we needed anything. Great atmosphere and drinks!!! Friendly waitstaff. My daughter and friends love meeting up here to hang out.
The service was really good and our waiter was attentive to all of our needs. The salad was amazing and I even had leftovers to take home. The space was open and clean in the restaurant was very quiet to be an open room.
Added My boyfriend and I to the waitlist online cause there was a 45 minute wait and got to the restaurant time. Unfortunately when we arrived we were told their getting our table ready and the tables seemed ready for every small party that WALKED in. The little Hispanic girl with the half up, half down ponytail was way too busy flirting with some tattooed up server to realize we haven't been seated and that we were the next party. A little pricey but worth it for a nice evening out.
Nice outdoor dining spot and good food. I wish they had more than one choice for non alcohol beer.
My daughter ordered the smash burger after her second bite, a very long hair got stuck to her teeth. It was extremely disgusting. Seeing her pull the hair out from in between her teeth. We were all disgusted and nobody wanted to eat anymore. We told our waitress and she took the plate with the hair in a napkin to show the manager. She came back and said her manager would not charge us for the burger but I really expected a bigger apology since we were all too grossed out to eat anymore. Went downhill quick. This place is grubby and trash already. The food is over cooked and the drinks are a joke.
