Absolutely horrible experience. We had a big party of 27 on a Friday night which we know would take a long time. We walked in noon today and spoke to the hostess who told us we could make a day of reservation or first come on the bar. We got there at 530 and put our name on the list and tried grabbing a few seats on the patio just in case we were able to seat 12 of us. Waited 25 mins from the time we were seated till Veronica took our order. The staff is apathetic looked several servers in the eyes and no one would ask if we needed anything. Finally Veronica stopped and took our order as I was placing a curbside order on my phone. I had a happy hour beer and was never told blue moon was not an option. Had a refill and the bar took so long that my meal was almost done. When I asked to see the manager about it she cared less and didn't ever apologize when I told her about the wait. Terrible experience. My son and his baseball team had a long day in a tournament that was held close by this restaurant. When everyone was suggesting places to go grab a bite to eat I mentioned I had been wanting to try this place vs the normal Torchy's or Chili's etc. We arrived around 7:30pm on a Sunday night. Welp, I was hoping to be able to update this review with something more positive. We gave this restaurant a 2nd try today. I was hoping that after 10 months, they would have worked the kinks out. It took us 15 minutes to get greeted by a server, 25 minutes to get our drinks and I lost track of how long it took to get the 2 meals and 1 kids meal we ordered. We were really looking forward to trying this place, and finally decided to do so for date night last Saturday. Overall we have pretty mixed feelings about the experience: Pros: Our server was attentive and kind The tater kegs and burger were yummy The salted caramel brownie was to die for Cons: The waitlist function on their website was broken. Had a pretty great experience at the San Marcos location while staying in the area for a dance competition, so decided to give a try to the one close to home. Right off the bat we were off to a pretty bad start. Our server was nowhere to be found for the first 10 minutes. We had a few people come over to tell us our server would be right with us, but it took a bit. I ordered the filet with a Caesar salad and bbq beans. First off wonderful atmosphere!! Food was good. I will come back. My waitress was Renisha ( I think) she was great for only being her second day. They brought the wrong app at first. Instead of just taking and throwing it away, they said keep it. Which was really nice. Overall we'll be back.
