Most caring and compassionate Doctor I have ever met
I was referred to Dr. Levine by a friend. He is a great Dermatologist
Dr. Levine did a great job with my varicose veins. I would recommend him to anybody. The staff was great also.
Cold and starchy demeanor. Did not greet me or introduce himself. Talked mostlyrsFails to grreetintroduce himself to me when comeswame into the exam room. Only time he talked to me was when I asked him a question and responses were mostly and Talks in monosyllables.
My excellent insurance covers specialists with a $40.00 copay for in office procedure. Today after getting pathology results for a small basil cell spot i arrived at my appointment for removal (no MOES surgery). I was told there would be a $500.00 deductible before the removal. I again told office staff that they had done the same procedure with the $40.00 co-pay and they demanded $500.00 . Went back to my old derm and $40.00 copay. Way to back the blue doc . No sable no basil still got my wallet !
The worst dermatologist I have ever had. Extremely dismissive and is always rushing to finish the appointment, doesn't even pretend to care. Go somewhere else if possible
I recently moved from Illinois and found Luminary Dermatology in North Port, Fl. I wanted to refill a topical prescription for acne. The SECOND Karen comes into my room she went on a tangent to me about not being on birth control. She tells me I need to find someone here in Florida to help me find birth control and then proceeds to list out all forms of birth control even though I’m 25 years old and am WELL AWARE. First the practice I normally goto sent me to this guy about a clogged oil gland. looked at it for all of 30 seconds. He didn?t deserve a penny for what he did however my insurance will surely be billed a stupid amount of money for NOTHING. Myself a self employed man who wasted a day of work to see this guy who ultimately will be paid 10x what i lost today for his measly 30 seconds of his day. As a first-time patient, I was horrified by the way this doctor examined me. She failed to do a thorough check of all my skin abnormalities and rushed me in and out in 10 minutes. I should have left when she told me NOT to remove all my clothing--FOR a SKIN exam?All she did was take four biopsies that were all keratosis just to make a quick buck. Her hands shook the entire time she was using a scalp blade. I will never go back. Academic Alliance in Dermatology should be ashamed hiring her.
