I honestly was dreading the thought of sitting in a class for so many hours, but it turned out to be an interesting and worthwhile class. Doug is a fantastic instructor. He is knowledgeable about guns, gun safety, and the law. He was thorough in his explanations of everything from from proper hand positioning to why/how you should react in different situations. I definitely recommend his CCW class and am interested in taking a few others. It's money and time well spent.

I cannot say enough good things about action defense. Very hands on and attentive staff. I did the 8 hour course and went to the sheriffs office with the application and got my license all within a few days, thanks to Doug for having an awesome program set up for us.
It had a lot of content. The Instructor was phenomenal. I would recommend to anyone wanting their CCW.

I took the Building Confidence in Everyday Carry class. I would give 100 stars if I could! I have had my ccw for years now, but never felt really comfortable taking on the huge responsibility of actively carrying my weapon.....this class was exactly what I needed! Great realistic approach. Definitely experienced instructors. This company truly wants to help and train people the right way. It’s only an introduction and the basics but they offer advanced as well. Highly recommend.
