RecommendedI honestly was dreading the thought of sitting in a class for so many hours, but it turned out to be an interesting and worthwhile class. Doug is a fantastic instructor. He is knowledgeable about guns, gun safety, and the law. He was thorough in his explanations of everything from from proper hand positioning to why/how you should react in different situations. I definitely recommend his CCW class and am interested in taking a few others. It's money and time well spent.

RecommendedI cannot say enough good things about action defense. Very hands on and attentive staff. I did the 8 hour course and went to the sheriffs office with the application and got my license all within a few days, thanks to Doug for having an awesome program set up for us.

I have had my ccw for years now, but never felt really comfortable taking on the huge responsibility of actively carrying my weapon.....this class was exactly what I needed! RecommendedGreat realistic approach. Definitely experienced instructors. This company truly wants to help and train people the right way. It’s only an introduction and the basics but they offer advanced as well. Highly recommend.
RecommendedIt’s a longggg day but the class has the right amount of information and levity. Instructors, hands down, know their stuff. One instructor made one correction on the range portion and zeroed me in. It had been frustrating but now it’s all good. I like that they accept Vets in their classes, even us Army Vets. Well worth the money I my opinion.
