The days at this place are pretty regimented. Expect to participate in 5-7 groups a day. They are mandatory. The beds were very uncomfortable and food was ehh, but I know theyre doing the best they can. I would recommend this palce to others though.
I'll remember my entire treatment stay, but what I'll remember most is how I was treated when I first got there. Meg in admissions was just so welcoming and endearing. I immedaitely felt safe around her. Thanks Meg!!!
The entire process from start to end was incredibly smooth in regards to admissions and discharge. The grounds could have looked a little more inviting and the diversity of food on the unit could have been better, but the treatment was informative.
I thought that this facility was going to be like the other state-run facilities that I had been to, but this place was the exact opposite and exceeded my expectations - from the cleanliness to the professionalism to the food. Would highly recommend!
Overall I had a pretty great experience at Adcare. I laughed a lot harder than I thought I was going to with the other clients. Some pretty big belly laughs at that. I came in thinking it wouldn't be safe, but that's just the stigma. Very safe place.
My daughter went to this facility about 6 months ago and is still going strong. I firmly believe this facility gave my daughter the tools, insight and motivation she needed to believe in herself that she could get more than 1 month sober. THANK YOU!!
The patience and selflessness I see from the counselors at this facility is absolutely mind blowing. They truly give there all when it comes to keeping people in treatment. God bless all the staff at this facility.
Look.. I just have to give a huge shout out to the TA's. They are literally bugged a billion times a day by the clients and yet they never manage to lose their cool or professionalism. They have the patience of a monk. They're the real MVP's there
