I found the groups to be very informative, moving and at times provocative, but I think we need that every now and then. I've been to a couple treatment facilities, but this one by far exceeded my expectations. Actual care was given to each patient.
The nurses were just absolutely amazing. They were all incredibly friendly and they really took into consideration all the concerns people had about themselves. They were respectful, professional and maintained strict boundaries.
The groups were pretty good, but being there for a month, they got a little repetitive. I learned a lot though. The beds were pretty uncomfortable, but I managed to sleep with the night time meds they give you. And the food was better than expected.
The facility was very clean and it's cleaned daily, the food was very good for a rehab (sadly this is my 4th time in a rehab), the clinicians were stretched thin because of us, but they did the best they could - which was great.
As soon as I got there, the staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly. They offered me something to drink and something to eat and my nerves were almost immediately diminished. They answered all the questions that I had as well. Very smooth proces
So it was my first time in treatment and I was absolutely terrified. I was in the waiting room and the COO (I think her name was Sarah) came in and chatted with me about what my experience would look like. She left me feeling safe and validated <3
place could use a little updating but what matters is the treatment and that was amazingh
was incredibly surprised by how clean the facility was.
the staff there are so incredibly patient and i know that bcuz i was a major pain in the butt to them lol. thanks for all ur patience guys. i know were not an easy population to deal with
