Perfect for my small home office and scanning old family pictures great price We will see about it's durability over time. But in the first 10 hours of use It has performed flawlessly. The Software (Control Center 4) is intuitive. I baled on the included PDF software since It wasn't as good as PDF Studio 8 which I already had. Eats paper...otherwise a good buy Every time I max out the amount I can scan, it eats the last two pieces of paper sideways. I see how this can be fixed but is a physical change. Other than that, it is fast and good quality.

This is a great compact scanner! I was looking at purchasing this for quite a while but held off because some reviewers comments about the card reader being finicky or it being hard to set up. I went ahead and purchased and quickly realized that I should never have listened to those comments. I plugged it into power and had it set up and on my WiFi in minutes. Scans those unusually long documents! Ever wanted to scan those long long documents like a vehicle purchase type document? Well this is it. You have to look up how to setup it up, but I have document nearly 3ft long, and it scanned it! The bonus part, regular docs can be scanned front and back in one pass. This is compact, WiFi connection and easy to use.
I upgraded to the Fujitsu Scansnap and the performance is much better. If you have to choose between the two ... The scanner jams frequently and does not connect to wifi reliably. That being said, it still gets the job done for a small amount of scanning. I upgraded to the Fujitsu Scansnap and the performance is much better. If you have to choose between the two scanners, go with the Fujitsu.

Let it be known here loud and clear as of 10/2017, Let it be known here loud and clear as of 10/2017, The Brother software and drivers for this product seem to be dated and have some pretty significant incompatibility issues regarding its Wireless Networking functionality with Windows 10.
