It was hard to setup.... wireless difficult to get working. I don't know why this thing was so hard to get working. It does work, eventually.... Wireless is really slow and unreliable, so I don't think that feature is very useful. If you are thinking of sharing this device...well good luck with that. Build quality is quite nice. However, the setup is just very counter-intuitive and confusing. The ID scanner is good; however, it doesn't crop the ID scan, so your ID scan has mostly white spaces in it. Five Stars Very quick fulfillment, work perfectly at a discounted price!
Scans directly to a share folder from the scanner's control panel easily. This is exactly what I needed. I wanted a scanner that I could walk up to, put some pages in it and then (by using only the scanner) scan directly to my NAS drive (WD My Cloud). I was able to configure the network location and credentials by using the web interface and then it just worked. Excellent!

It was a beautiful piece of equipment It was a beautiful piece of equipment, but it wouldn't work for the purpose that I needed it for (the fault was not with the scanner or Brother, it was with the software manufacturer, NEAT, who had NO CUSTOMER SERVICE).
Just Excellent! It arrived as described and on time. I have two other scanners which I have not used since I received this one. It is the perfect scanner for those that need to scan legal size, credit cards, receipts quickly!
