I had incredible gum pain related to a crown from a few years ago. I called and heard that I should wait to see if it persists, since it was a problem for me before. The pain remained extremely strong with pressure (8/10), so I called again the next afternoon and was scheduled for a consultation the next day. Dr Kolliya determined there was a problem with my gums, removed the crown, and referred me to a periodontist for further care. Just had all my amalgam filling replaced with resin fillings on the left side and the process was painless and I was totally recovered by the end of the day with no jaw soreness and no temp sensitivity. Great experience!
A very welcoming staff make the arrival pleasant. But the most important component is that they have the best equipment and caring people who explain what they are doing and show you the evidence. The photo images, the comparison of your records and pictures with previous visits all make me appreciate the technology makes a difference to diagnosis and prophylaxis. The newest techniques to make the patient comfortable with an emphasis on re-assuring the patient that they are being listened to make the visit a good experience.
