They returned my calls promptly to schedule service. They called me again a day prior for a reminder. The serviceman came out on time and performed all duties as described. He recommended a repair to the top brick mortar pointing but said I could get wait on that repair. I would highly recommend this service and company. I will be calling them again.

Affordable Chimney Sweeps has been very easy to contact. Crew showed up on time for estimate and promptly provided a quote on site and follow up on the mail. We hope to be able to use their services soon once we resolve other unrelated items needed for the crew to be able to work on our home.

Our first impression with the company was good. We scheduled an inspection for an estimate; the appointment was postponed due to the technician becoming ill. However, we were notified promptly and a new appointment was scheduled and the technician showed up on time, did the inspection -- he only checked the chimney from the fireplace, didn't inspect the outside nor did he go up to the roof to look at the top of the chimney -- still, no complaints here as we really didn't know what an inspection should involve even though we ... read more

We called based on all the positive reviews on Angie's list - office staff very friendly, makes appt for a 2 hour timeframe on a Saturday. Technician shows up 45 minutes after the 2 hour window had closed without really any apologies or explanation or any attempt at contacting us to let us know. I also personally called the office and left a message to check where they were when he was 20 minutes late but did not hear back from them. Explained what was wrong the chimney in great detail and the required next steps to get it up to code. <br /> They told me the liner was cracked and was leaking carbon monoxide into the house. I paid to have a new chimney liner installed. <br /> <br /> I just had the chimney inspected and cleaned by another sweep and have been informed that the liner is an inch too small. Tech came earlier than expected (not that?s all that bad, however thankfully someone was home). Tech got right to work, job was completed quickly. We thought everything was ok... until after further inspection we found soot everywhere in the living room...we mean everywhere. We then spent the day cleaning the entire living room.
