I feel like I was rushed out and wasn’t taken seriously or given the proper care for my child.
I’ve been bringing my 3 children here for 8 years. I called today at 12:49 to see if they could work in my sick child. They saw & diagnosed my other child with strep on Thursday & wouldn’t call in a prescription for my 2nd sick kid until they saw him. I was specifically told by the lady I spoke with to come in as soon as I could since I told her it would be 1:30-2 by the time I could get him there. My experience at this clinic was a complete JOKE! I called the DAY BEFORE, to get both of my children’s 121 form. Told the nurse that I would be there 1st thing in the morning. Fast forward, next morning- I walked in to get them, they didn’t have them. So the guy at the 2nd window told me 10-15 mins. Max. I already explained I had an appointment at 10. The worst experience ever not once but twice the worst children’s clinic around ! DO NOT GO HERE...
came up for my sons appt and they closed for lunch so I had to sit outside in the heat for 30 minutes and they didnt open back up on time ridiculous!!
Horrible first experience with our newborn! Went in for her first appointment and their thermometer did not work to get her temperature. Dr. Gamble then did her check up and assessment and told us to “just come back tomorrow to get her temperature taken, no big deal, no appointment necessary. Before we left we asked him about her bilirubin test that needed to be done per the hospital who delivered her. He told us she was fine and to just put her in the sun and didn’t order the test. Little babies medical condition can change overnight that may prompt a provider to do an investigation that was not indicated on the previous day. The Clinic did everything appropriate for your baby. There was nothing wrong with the thermometer as suggested by you. The Clinic providers do what is needed for your baby, not what you think should be done. It is your responsibility to check your insurance benefits AND be responsible for the cost of the services provided. The Clinic wishes you good luck.
Yet again another let down. I made an appointment for 9:40 AM, arrived and were waiting to go back. I’ll let them know upfront that we were seeing a different position and the lady said that was OK. When it was time to go back, 40 minutes after our appointment time, she then called back to a lady named Latoya and asked if we could be seen as a primary care physician. The front staff is rude and the doctors don't spend enough time listening to our concerns. I understand they allow a certain amount of time per room, but if they are running behind that isn't our fault.

The front desk and doctors ( Dr Odum) are so kind and helpful . The nurses are NOT . They have NO bedside manners ! And should NOT be working at a CHILDRENS clinic when they clearly DONT like children !

Someone has to give shots, swab throats, hold the children down to do procedures etc. Your label that ALL nurses are not kind, helpful and non caring is simply NOT true. These nurses are moms and love children. They could work at regular adult clinics, if they did not like children. Most of our nurses have been with us for more than 2 years.
