What a great job they did for me this morning, Bill Murphy Part 2. In June I contacted AMS about moving my house out of Colorado to Arkansas. I was given a price with a $1000.00 down the same day. I was told my goods would be loaded into 1 truck and the same truck would take them to my new home. 2 days before my move date, AMS called me and told me that I would have to pay another $500.00 because of a scheduling problem. I honestly feel so ripped off by All My Sons Moving. My move over the weekend required three steps: 1. pick up all my boxes from a storage unit 2. Pick up furniture from another 3. drop it all off at my final destination. Everything was prepared, and organized It should have taken 3 hours but it took 5. It's not a lot of stuff... just enough to fit in a one bedroom apartment. I would NOT recommend All My Sons for moving!! They do not tell you all the charges and if you ask about it they will tell you there isn’t a charge but they will charge you later. They won’t unload the truck until you pay even if the price is way too high. The movers smelled like marijuana and very completely unprofessional. They were too busy talking and took 6 hours to load the truck for a 2 bedroom apartment. Couldn’t be more unhappy. When I called to tell them about my experience it was the worst customer service. Terrible experience. Wouldn't recommend to my worst enemy. Robert came to our house to give us an estimate. Estimate seemed high, but Robert promised us that all of their movers are ten-year veterans, that they don't hire day laborers, and they would treat our things like their own. When the movers showed up, they were all young kids. Some of them didn't even know each other. Since we didn't have a choice, we continued with the move, hoping it would be okay. Well, it wasn't. I had to have 2 moves. The first move was from my exit home to a storage unit and the 2nd from our storage unit to our new home. The first move went pretty much as expected and pretty smooth. Worth the money I spent. The 2nd on the other hand was not as smooth. I thought the crew was supposed to come in un-wrap everything and set up which did not happen and of course I did not realize this until after the movers were gone. Quoted one price them ended up being double the cost. Thought everything was moved as they did not do a final walk through, now I have to go back and move all remainder items that they never packed which is pretty much a whole bedroom with the exception of large furniture. Will never use them again

Don't make a mistake - like I did - and get sucked in by these guys! They charged me double what they quoted me! I gave them complete details of what the job entailed so I would get an accurate quote. They didn't even give that info to the movers. Further they told me it would be a morning move, then once I booked it changed it to afternoon, then they never showed up in the 2 hr window they gave - and never called.
