RecommendedDr.Polcari at the Homewood Office in Alabama is a very caring and thorough doctor. He really takes time with his patients to fully understand their issues. He is the reason I drive an 1hr and 30 minutes for my Xolaire injections monthly and to see him.
I felt very well taken care during my telephone call as I would in person. Dr. Polcari has left a great first impression by making sure me as a patient feels heard and has set the tone for Allervie!
My recommendation is a yes and no. I was told after asking many questions if they could handle my lung issues, to only get there and find out they cant after waiting a month on this appointment. Now I have to make another appointment with another doctor somewhere else. I will say the staff is nice, the place is nice, and the npc I saw was nice, just didn't get the help I needed. They are very organized and professional at the Homewood office. The Doctors and CRNP’s really want to help their patients. They do a great job!
Drs Anderson and Yolo are wonderful. They explain everything and provide options. The staff is helpful and caring. The program of treatment they put me on has kept me out of the ER. Other clinic did nothing to help me. Fortunately the HAEA support group referred me to Allervie.
Dr. Polcari could not have been more informative and affirming. My child is very energetic and curious. He enjoyed being met and engaged with at his level. As a parent, I loved seeing my son's exploratory and inquisitive nature appreciated. Beyond the practical help with my son's medical issues (which was thorough), I left encouraged on a personal level. All of the staff seemed to genuinely like children-- an important distinction from tolerating them. As a parent, I find this especially valuable in a healthcare setting.
Dr Kunin is very professional and addresses my heath needs.
