Tried to sign up with them and they held on to my application for 7 days, then when I finally got through I was told it was because I didn't supply information for my CT license. Well, I had a CT license that expired a couple of years ago when I used to be an AAC client. This time, I completed an application with all my Florida license data. I just found out that if you take someone to collections and they decide to make a claim against you, AAC will NOT cover you. Wow! Talk about not supporting the profession! When calling them on it the legal department said that they don't cover "retaliation claims". is there any company out there that actually protects acupuncturists? I thought all the acupuncturists out there should know this. You could be in jeopardy too due to this conservative and punitive approach!
