RecommendedEfficiency in scheduling and good ability to contact MD. If issues. Dr. Balaratna is a great cardiologist. Extremely knowledgeable and takes time to explain procedures and diagnosis in layman’s terms. Brief encounter in hospital with Dr McCarthy as well, overall I’d recommend AMS Cardiology.
RecommendedThe professionalism, expertise, bedside manner, and knowledge of the doctors and staff at AMS Cardiology is second to none in these times of corporate-controlled, downsized, impersonal "medical care." Specifically, Drs. Shapiro and Collins are the best. Tricia, a medical assistant, and Travis, at checkout, are extremely helpful and treat us like family. We go to AMS main office on Welsh Road.
RecommendedWe go to the Horsham, PA facility on Welsh Rd. I've been going there and one other location for quite some time and AMS Cardiology does it right. Everything from check-in to check-out is a seamless and outstanding experience. My cardiologist is Dr. Balaratna. I've been seeing him for years for routine visits. If you want to get an idea of how your "plumbing" is working, two non-invasive tests will give you an idea of status.
