I can’t say enough good things about Anamosa Veterinary. They are so knowledgeable and make you feel comfortable. Our dog has anxiety issues and can sound really mean towards strangers sometimes. They were are so professional and always do such a good job with him. We will always take our pets here.
My boy Cruiser was in BAD shape with the bloat. He wasn't going to make it if he didn't get help fast. I called after hours around 9 the techs answered the phone got the info and called me right back to have me come in ASAP. Doc Ryan came in after hours and confirmed his stomach had twisted and did emergency surgery and saved him. He called me around midnight to tell me he did great. I picked him up the next day and he was MUCH better. Just wanted to say thanks Doc Ryan and rest of the crew for saving my boy.
They are great. Prices are fair and they finally got an answer for my pup.
Everything and everyone!! Fabulous vets, staff!! I've switched to them for life!! Thank you McKenzie and Ryan!!!

No matter how busy they are they are ALWAYS very professional, positive, helpful,hopeful and all the way around they care about each and every pet. I live in Cedar Rapids,IA and it takes me about 30min to get to Anamosa Vet Clinic, but that is nothing compared to the service they give my four legged fur babies. I love Anamosa Vet Clinic.

I went in for a consultation for my 1 1/2 year old cat to possibly get front claws declawed. Our vet explained in a very nice way how it would be hard on him. I told her that I trust her knowledge and personal opinion so we are opting to trim instead! From the minute we walked in though we were welcomed and everyone was just so polite and nice. Not to mention our kitty had to get a shot as well and we didn’t even notice that she had did it! Super quick and easy and everyone was nice!! What more could you ask for? We live on ... read more
