My doc is thorough great no bs takes good care of my pets and doesn’t try to up sell me stuff. Staff is polite only issue is I usually wait 20-30 min past appointment time

Animal Hospital of Waco is always excellent! Very friendly, caring, professional staff. Very clean. The vet always explains everything thoroughly and gives excellent recommendations that work well. I highly recommend this place. Best vet in Central Texas! You will love them too! ❤️

Dr. Ryan treated my pet, Gypsie (Boston Terrier), with respect, attention, and care. He also treated me the same and gave me the audience I needed. Dr. Ryan is young: however, I am impressed with his philosophy of care and thoughtful understanding that my baby is very important to me and that if he in the least felt that Gypsie is in danger from whatever, he will discuss her issue with me and we will decide the best plan of care for her. This Hospital is such a caring place. Dr. B and Dr. Ryan are wonderful vets. They care about the precious pets that they take care of. We recently had to have Janice's little dog , Oscar, put to sleep after a long fight with rectal cancer. Dr. B was so kind to Janice and me by giving us twenty four hours with Oscar before putting him to sleep on Sat. August 27th. This gave me a chance to take Oscar to Ridgecrest to visit Janice. Dr. B was so understanding and cried with me as we watched Oscar breath his last breath. D... read more
I have a cat with a rare auto immune problem called pillow paw & dr.Dougherty is the only vet who knew what I was talking about & I called several here in town & was told I would have to take him to Austin or some specialist, he spent a good 20-30 minutes with me explaining this & right know it’s doing well & I believe we are on the right track. I used this office for all of my needs when dr Rafferty was there for over 20years & have never been disappointed!
