RecommendedI switched my two dogs over to Animal Medical Care Center awhile back and I have felt nothing but loved here. Marissa has been my go-to groomer to my children for the past almost 3 years. She has always exceeded my expectations and accommodates to what my dogs need! Overall this place is an amazing environment and would recommend this to any animal parent!
The staff is wonderful. Marissa has been grooming my shitzu for several years and we love her. It is so convenient to come here for grooming. If Marissa sees a problem such as an ear infection, the doctor can see our dog while he is there. Also, no strict drop off and pick up times which makes it so much more convenient.
My cat and I had a wonderful experience at Animal Medical Care Center! I recommend them because they are so thorough and caring! 😃😽💕

As an animal rescue, we work with many vets in the area and generally need about 20 appointments a month between sanctuary cats, found strays for adoption and our trap, neuter and return (TNR) program. AMCC is exceedingly professional and always available to help us with the many demands that we place on them. We couldn’t recommend them higher! Poquoson Animal Welfare Sanctuary, Inc
they have that special certification that only 15% of the Vets have in the United States. It is very clean and the Vet and staff are wonderful!

My fur baby Mia has been coming here for over a year and I’ve had nothing but perfect and positive experiences . If Mia was ever sick they would work her in same day if not the next even if she just had a little bug bite ❤️. I recommend this vet if you’re looking for knowledgeable trustworthy animal lovers . Mia is always happy to see everyone there and Amanda is a amazing groomer , Mia comes home happy and looking like a beautiful princess.

I can’t think of a better place to take my animals to & there are some good places in the area but NONE compare to Animal Medical Care Center & Dr Gallahorn & the rest of the ladies there my animals love Dr Gallahorn, she treats each & every animal that comes to the center with nothing but love & care like each one is her family and you can’t ask for anything more than that when you bring you furry family members to a vets office. This place treats my fur babies like their own. They are very caring. Marissa is my go-to for nails getting done. My older dog has a hard time when it comes to his paws being touched, she does great with him and is so patient. My 7 month old pup wags and wants to run inside as soon as we get here. She loves it. Affordable as well. Can’t thank you guys enough for all you do.
