I am very thankful for Dr. Johnson, Kim and all the staff at the Animal Medical Clinic. They saved our Lola's life. They treated her like she was their dog. Dr. Johnson is very professional, knowledgeable, caring, informative and has gone the extra mile to take care our dogs. I would highly recommend this clinic to anyone who loves their pets.
I have known Dr Johnson and his staff for twenty years. He and his staff are always very friendly, and knowledgeable. Dr Johnson always gives me all my options with my fur babies care, and always takes into consideration my financial situation, and my love for my dogs, in all those conversations. Dr. Johnson has been my vet since 1994. I could write an essay on this wonderful vet and his staff, but since this is a review I will keep it short. From the very first appointment, I felt like he truly cared about my pets welfare, and that it wasn't just 'all about the money', as I had felt in a previous experience. He gives me every option available regarding treatment so I can make an informed decision, and his given all my pets the best possible care. I will NEVER go anywhere else.
I will never take my pets anywhere else! The entire team is great and they really care about your pets. Dr. Johnson is absolutely WONDERFUL! I have two small dogs that he and his team take great care of. I do and will continue to recommend them to any pet owner. The definitely get it right at Animal Medical Clinic. Thanks for everything you guys do!
Animal Medical Clinic has always been so professional, knowledgeable, & loving. I was a loyal client for the few years I lived in Des Moines and even drove back to Des Moines to Animal Medical Clinic when I lived in the Quad Cities. I'd recommend Animal Medical Clinic and its wonderful staff to anyone in the Des Moines area.
RecommendedDo not take your animals to DR Michelle. George had a procedure that would “fix” his fluid in ear. $1,000 procedure is no big deal, however when it returned 3 weeks later Dr Michelle said bring him back in, did the procedure again and wanted to charge another $1000. When asked more questions irrationally reacted and even said “YOU’RE FIRED”. My visit with this clinic was very unprofessional, rude of everyone in the office. One of the vet technitions was overly flirtatious with my spouse. She said she didn't know we were together "we were together" (we were the only two in the office as far a clients) when i asked if she knew him, she copped an immidiate additude & she simply shugged it off like it was someone she thought she knew (my husband) and proceeded to take my dog to the back.
