RecommendedMy english lab had a grand mal seizure and brought to clinic. We were greated and taken in and treated reasonably quickly. There was a 45 minute wait for discharge. The care is good and they have resources there. It does come at a cost.
If you (unfortunately) ever need an emergency vet, I highly recommend AAVEC. The staff is very understanding and make the horrible need for you to be there an easier experience. Everything is explained in great detail, written instructions provided, and the staff is very understanding and comforting. If your pet needs more extensive diagnosis and care, the AAVEC also houses several vet specialty clinics so there's no need to transfer your pet to get the care it needs. Our lab had eye surgery here in December with great results and care, and was treated for a sudden onset illness three weeks ago. Each doctor was caring and compassionate beyond what we could have hoped for.
The staff at AAVEC are truly exceptional and saved my 6 week old kitten who was diagnosed with a condition that required the sleuthing of skilled experts!
