RecommendedToday was our first visit for our 7 1/2 year-old 193 pound, highly anxious Great Dane. Every year, the vet visit for vaccinations is something that I dread. Today that changed. I love Appalahian Veterinary Hospital, they always talk to me with lots of respect, they take very good care of my Dixie and Binx they did take are of my Bandi until he had to go to Cat Heaven. We recently adopted three kittens from a shelter. These little kittens, as sometimes happens, came with an upper respiratory virus and eye infections that they kept passing around to each other. Being newer to the area we did not have a relationship established with a local vet so we came to Appalachian Veterinary Hospital on the recommendation of my sister. Ol' Buddy has transitioned to the "happy hunting grounds". Suffering kidney problems, blindness, and deafness his quality of life was poor. Thank you to Appalachian Veterinary Hospital for their compassion and care. You guys made a tough time bearable.

I have taken my animals here for years. We had to put our first family dog down recently Dr Lamaster and the whole team were so good to us and sweet to our Abby as they helped her cross the rainbow bridge. We will never forget their kindness
