John is a true professional and very knowledgeable. We started the house hunting/qualification process 2 years ago, our circumstances changed and we had to wait. John gave us advice on how to stay on track and kept in touch with us. He would respond to our questions promptly and was very helpful. I called him last week, he fit us in for an appointment the same week. We went over our financials and were approved. John hung in there with us for 2 years! We were NOT just a number to him, he treats you as a person. We highly recommend him.

Short version - John was amazing and I could not recommend him highly enough Long version - We've only gone through the process of buying a home once before and it was several years ago BUT the main thing I remember about it was how arduous and repetitive (and soul crushing) dealing with the lender was and that it almost made me go insane and never want to buy a house again. So this time I decided to look at using a mortgage broker. John came highly recommended by a trusted friend so I included him in my vetting process and believe me, I tested him. I promise you as a fellow home buyer, I looked at several options and now being at the end of this process and literally closing escrow today (waiting for the deed to record as I write this), I can honestly say that having John as our mortgage broker was the best decision we made in this whole process. When we met to discuss what he could do for us as a mortgage broker, I had 3 pages or more (single spaced) of questions and John answered them all patiently and knowledgeably. I feel a little bad now about how much I grilled him for answers, but he was very understanding. Even after we decided to use him, I would think of things I forgot to ask or something that was suddenly unclear to me so I’d ask him to clarify and he always did so expediently and confidently. You literally have nothing to lose by having John as your mortgage broker. There are no upfront fees (not even for a credit check) and you don’t pay him anything in the end (the bank pays his fees!). He still gets you the best rate available and he had great timing for locking ours in. I did consider whether or not he would be able to get us the lowest rate if the bank was the one paying him and I can absolutely attest to the fact that he did. I checked rates regularly and at one point I was nervous that they would go up before he locked ours in but he had a feeling it was going to drop and of course it did and that’s when he locked our rate. All in all, he made this whole process easier on us because we knew we could trust him to work on our behalf. We are very happy clients and I am more than happy to recommend him.
