Putting a loved once, especially an adored parent into assisted living is a gut retching, sad, "I don't want to think about it" situation. You are essentially taking this person out of their home where memories live, where love lives, where celebrations of all kinds happened, where they are comfortable and putting them into a new environment. After several site visits to facilities in Northeast Pinellas (Clearwater/Safety Harbor/Palm Harbor) and in Northwest Hillsborough, I selected the Evergreen (Alzheimer's) Unit at Arbor Terrace Citrus Park for my father. He has been in their great care for 5 months now, and our entire family is very pleased with all they do for him. Arbor is a clean and beautiful community. As soon as you walk in you feel welcomed. Arbor has some of the most caring staff I have ever worked with. They take such good care of their residents. I have worked at a few different communities in the area and Arbor is by far the best. They really care about the residents and go out of their way to make them happy. It truly is a great place for your loved one.

I recently toured the Arbor Terrace Citrus Park community and I have to say that I am very impressed with the assisted living. I am beyond excited for my grandmother to be moving into this community, especially after touring 5 other facilities! The way that the staff here interacted with the residents put all of my worries at ease. Knowing that my grandmother will be treated with respect and interact with such a caring staff who not only work hard but do so with a smile is beyond comforting.
