Being privately owned means nothing. Nor does being a family owned business. It's all hype. I have been an excellent customer for years purchasing so.much jewelry I am considered a Silver customer. My 1.23 carat emerald cut diamond ring was chipped and I believe they chipped it. It was cleaned twice and no one mentioned it being chipped which is considered a lie of omission.
