If you need a new dentist, check them out! I had an impacted wisdom tooth Thanksgiving weekend and they got me in right away the following Monday. They assessed me, did a cleaning, alleviated the pain with novicaine until the prescription was ready and less than 48 hours later the tooth was extracted and I was pain free. The ease of getting an emergency appointment (with a new provider) was easy, the facility is new and clean. Their staff is top notch. Awful terrible negative stars Went in as a new patient received the consultation came back for the cleaning on 1/27/2026. Mitch the hygienist was overly aggressive and actually hurt me. I stopped him and told him about the pain he said it was normal. I said that this is my first time experiencing pain in the over 30 years of cleanings. He then gave me big attitude. This dental facility is run to be all about money . Pressure was felt to do all these procedures when all I wanted was relief from the extreme pain . Dentist was horrible . It took her 6 tries to pull the tooth and she kept telling me it couldn't hurt . After my tooth extraction I went home and a 2 inch piece of the stitches was hanging in the back of my mouth . With an extraction they insisted on a deep cleaning before the extraction . Didn't make sense . Let's do the cleaning after we address the tooth that was crac... read more

The reason for 2 stars is they will fit you in their schedule promptly. Just be aware they will overcharge you!! You will end up with a large bill. They will tell you it is their policy to offer deep cleanings only here even for children. No regular cleanings offered here. They will tell you work is necessary but dont show the necessity in their notes so insurance will deny payment. If you dont mind spending thousands of dollars for unnecessary work this is your place. They care about your money only and is run like an asse... read more

Office experience was horrendous. They operate like a used car lot. Will add things to your bill that you don't receive. I ended up canceling all scheduled appointments for my wisdom teeth removal. If you do go there, make sure to go through billing LINE BY LINE. When I first came in it was all scare tactics, telling me my teeth were going to fall out if I don't get the right treatment, the NEXT DAY, at my cleaning appointment the hygienist said my teeth were fine, only needed to schedule cleanings more often. I had great care from the dentist. The problem was the billing. I paid them $7000 upfront. My insurance paid them my benefit in full which was $1500. They're trying to them another $2600 out of pocket according to my patient responsibility was $5184. they are refusing to refund me I will never go back there just because of that and I still don't have all my dental work done

Negative stars...A real disappointment...Business model is that of a "Time Share Closing Operation"...Little emphasis on patients needs...unresponsive to inquiries...

Dentists are rotated to various locations and the dentist that landed at this location was extremely rough, rushed and unprofessional. She acted more quantitative the focused on quality. I actually got up from the chair because her contact was abrasive. I'd steer clear of Aspen Dental unless you like your dental work to be served like fast food.

My first appt. Was at 2:00pm at the Aspen in Gurnee,Il facility today I arrive a 1:50 go to the door and its locked. A note on the door says the staff will be in a meeting until 4:00pm. I get ready to leave and another couple shows up does the same thing I did. I asked them what time there appt. Was and they said 2:00pm. They also said its typical for this facility. I recieved a call from the office at 2:20 and said we are sorry about your appt today would you like to come back or reschedule...I said I took off work for a 2... read more
