I was afraid to go to Aspen dental because it was a franchise, but they surprised me. The care was awesome and the price was reasonable.

Don't go here. Aspen Dental is a scam . They get you in with a "free cleaning" and will up charge everything else on work that you may or may not need . . All they care about is making their quota.Ive worked in the dental field for over 15 years and this is not a place that cares about your dental health. Please find a private practice dental office , not a chain like Aspen Dental.

6:20 PM Thu May 7 5 * 58% Resent visit I haven't been dentist in 3-4 years as I moved around with the work that I did. I am not retired due to a severe injury I suffered at work and now am no longer to work. So I am retired, living on Social Security disability, and have Medicare which went affective May 1st. Very disappointing experience at Aspen Dental. I had to ask multiple times for a lead apron with a thyroid cover, and was initially told it wasn't available--only for them to produce one when I said I would not get xrayed without it. The X-rays were also painful, with equipment that was too large and cutting my mouth until I told them to stop, they then offered a smaller plate. I called to get my 89-year-old mother-in-law to get an appointment, told them what her insurance was and they made an appointment. She has COPD and uses a walker so it is an effort to get her anywhere. On arrival and giving her insurance card, the receptionist told me they didn't take her insurance and immediately the office manager shows up to tell me they. an see her for free and can give 25% discount on the work she needed done which by estimate from another office was $1600. The service itself was fine, but the financial department has consistently been problematic. I have never encountered a smooth transaction with them. Despite providing my updated information twice, they failed to update my insurance policy. The last time being told to call back in a few days to "make sure she did it". Six months after that, I was informed that a specific procedure was partially covered by my insurance, otherwise I wouldn't have done it. Avoid Aspen Dental Apopka - Terrible Experience I went to Aspen Dental Apopka with a simple issue and left with a completely different experience. They recommended unnecessary treatments totaling $9,128, with my responsibility being $5,423. They were very pushy about upselling services I never came in for.
