This place is a scam. They tell you they aren't going to charge you for things but then you get a bill later on after that first consultation. They sign up for a credit cards, You never asked to sign up for... a complete scam and waste of time. I feel like if they were to be more concise and clear about the paperwork that you were signing, you won't have these issues, but it's not like that at all. They are more interested in sales than actual service and care for patients.

Update to prior review Rosé colored Not only has Aspen Dental NOT processed or field my claim with my insurance. They are charging me additional 2900.00 for stuff I didn't receive. On top of that I wasn't even at that office NOR in the state of FL.

Hello I have been waiting for my refund to my Care Credit account and charges Humana Insurance account since June 27, 2023. The amount from 6/20/23 is $356.40 to be refunded to my Humana Flex Card and $5,590.20 to my Care Credit account. Total SCAM, at first I chose this place because it was close to my house and covered by my insurance. when I scheduled for the first time on Dec 2022, they charged me 800.60 in advance before billing my insurance and I paid to cover deep cleaning which they didn't even do anything and it was like regular cleaning. they scheduled me for the second session for the remaining of the procedure in Feb 2023. when i showed up for my appointment, they told me that i have a balance of 80 and if i need to do the second session i have t... read more

Misled me into making an appointment for cleaning. My son and I waited from 4:15 until about 6:30 and they never told us the cleaning would not be done. The front desk guy called us to the front to talk about thousands of dollars for treatment plan. Beware of these scammers!!!!!!!!

Stay far away from Aspen dental unless you don't mind getting ripped off. They tried to have me do a special cleaning treatment that would cost around $500 and then tell me I need it done every 3-4 months or I will start losing bone from bacteria. What a complete lie. I went to multiple other dentist and they said my teeth were perfectly fine. What a waste of time. They did a lot of unnecessary X-rays to charge my insurance company and I only went in for a very small issue. The Dentist Liz Stewart and the office manager were so unprofessional and rude, I would never set foot in this office again. They only want to quote you a large costly work plan. Shame on them. Low class, no class or public relations skills at all. Choose a better dentist then Aspen Apopka.
