I made an appointment at 9:30 am on 4/10/2023 for 4pm. I suspected my daughter may have an abscess. My daughters dentist is closed until 4/17/2023. We drove almost an hour in a half to walk in the door and to be told she can not be seen because she is 11. I understand that practices have policies, but why was I not informed BEFORE coming into the office? I gave her DOB to scheduling. My visit was disappointing. I waited over an hour to see the Dentist. I was in pain and have been for a while. Dentist said it would take about 5 minutes to fix, ushered me to another room where I presumed he would do it. Instead, i was told to make another appointment to come back! And it would be almost a month! And they asked for payment ahead of time to secure the appointment.

Aspen Dental has a poor practice of setting 3 appointments at the same time when they only have 2 dentist to take patients. So when I arrived at the appointment, they had me wait 30 minutes while they saw the other 2 people that arrived after me.. If I'd have been 30 minutes late, do you think they'd have seen me? They also told me that the dentist was late. When I discussed it with the office manager I was told that was how they manage their patients. RecommendedI will NEVER go back. They called me to confirm my appointment. I have their number on my call log, where it showed I ANSWERED. The front desk lady proceeded to argue with me, and tell me I didn't answer the phone when she called. It's literally just a way for them to cancel on people, but trying to make themselves not look bad. 803-572-3088 is their number! On my phone log, you can clearly see that I answered that phone call.
