They are complete scam artist. The office staff mislead & lied to me, overcharged me and then tried to force me to pay for their billing mistake. I’ve tried for over a YEAR to get this resolved so I can get the services I paid in full for but they refuse to honor their own website posted information. Their office manager blatantly lied to me via email, then ghosted me after I called her out on it. I had been dealing with an ongoing tooth ache and finally extreme pain for a week before arriving at Aspen Dental on Sam Rittenberg Blvd, in Charleston, SC on Monday afternoon, 11/25/19. X-rays were taken I was given an exam. I was seen by Dr. Haase, and it was determined at that time that I had two teeth that needed to be extracted, and one needed a root canal/crown. I scheduled an appointment for a cleaning and when I arrived I only received a new patient exam. No one ever told me I wouldn't be receiving a cleaning during my visit. This was very disappointing and a waste of my time.
My New patient ( 3/16 emergency visit) the staff on this date was Awesome! Although I was feeling bad and rescheduled my extraction so the antibiotics could take effect, I was really annoyed sitting another 20 minutes to do a dental outline for future work. But ...the visit I just had today (3/20)??. OMG. These people are morons and have no clue what’s going on ever .
While I found the facility and staff to be great, I have to say that I was very disappointed to find that in a time of desparate need that I did not get the service that I came there for. I was in a lot of pain and needed a tooth extracted however what I got was a full work up for a consultation for the work that is recommended. They sent me away in the pain that I came there with however they did call in a prescription for pain meds for me while they scheduled me to return the following day.
