You could do yourself a favor and NEVER go to Aspen Dental in Coralville, Iowa. Worst experience with a dentist in my life. While in the chair they contacted my insurance company to see if I was covered for the procedure. After an hour and a half they decided I’m covered and do the procedure. Definitely a sketchy place. Went in for a consultation and they told me I had all these problems that needed to be fixed. I was in between insurances and my new insurance through my job had not been sent to me yet. They gave me an estimate based on my previous insurance which was not in network with them. They gave me the estimate which was about $3000 but as soon as I got my new insurance which was in network with them they became radio silent. Appointment times that work for the customer? NO. I have gone nearly a year without a cleaning because Everytime I schedule an appointment, they confirm.the appointment, and then the OF the appointment, they cannot take me and want me to reschedule AGAIN. Apparently the customer's schedule and oral health is actually NOT how they work. Done with this foolishment.

Waited 5+ months to bill my insurance to the point that the outstanding bill had affected me personally, loses my information weekly, cancels my appointments without informing me, the staff is friendly but I prefer that they actually do their jobs instead of being my friend. Do not recommend.
Went in for standard cleaning. They wouldn't do anything unless we spent thousands of dollars.
i went for $130 cleaning and they would not do it. they wanted a 2508 treatment even that i have zero cavities or problems
My initial visit to Aspen Dental was amazing. My second visit was with the new dentist to the practice for crown preparation. It took two hours to prepare for my crown and 2.5 hours my temporary crown break off. I have lost all faith in this practice.
I was sent there by the CR office for oral surgery. Worthless trip, as he did nothing for me and said he had to consult with them, back in Cedar Rapids office. That was last Tue, haven't heard anything yet!
