I scheduled an appointment for teeth cleaning with Aspen Dental in Kingman, AZ. They took x-rays and gave me an estimate that seemed very high for teeth cleaning ($3,141.00 before my insurance pays, 1,484.00 would have been my portion to pay for clean teeth). They said I needed a deep cleaning. I went to another Kingman, AZ dentist for second opinion; they are cleaning my teeth for a total of $57.00 on Monday morning. Not impressed with Aspen Dental. Both husband and I went in basically to get cleanings. Appointment was set and we arrive. They have all the latest gadgets for filling out paperwork and taking x-rays. We had an exam and then were taken into the billing room. They wanted over $1300 each because they said we both needed deep cleaning. I have been diligent in going to dentist every six months for years. I have never needed a deep cleaning. worst dentist I have ever went to in my life never have I been treated so poorly. The dentist was not interested in what I wanted done but what she could do and no other options. She lacks experience and know how in my opinion I was there for a filling falling out simple drill and fill very poor customer relations. Take my advice go see an old. school dentist instead your just a number here. worst experience I had with a dentist in a long time aspen gets a big fat ooo on a scale 1 to 10

At first we were really excited to get an Aspen Dental. Don't bother. They force you into treatment plans, such as laser decontamination, that would be optional other places that cost hundreds of dollars that isn't covered by insurance. They argue when you do not want to do it. They do not do the billing there, so when insurance declines it because they did not submit the x-rays and proper documentation, you have to fight it. When you go here make sure they tell you charges and costs of everything first. I had to make 3 appointments to get my teeth cleaned and they add extra stuff to charge you more during the exam. Now I have an EOB that shows they are going to charge me more. Your new patient free exam and X-rays end are suppose to free. False advertising because I have a pamphlet showing its free. After waiting for a month for an appointment, they called to reschedule me. The new appointment was set, and the day of the appointment, they called me and asked me to come in early as they had a cancellation. I showed up, filled out my paperwork, and proceeded to wait. I waited for 45 min and was told that it would be another 5 min. I waited another 15 min (which was now 25 min past my original appointment time) just to be told that a procedure ran longer than anticipated.
