😡Worst experience. Called to make an appointment for my granddaughter to get started with the invisalign program. Got to the office and the person behind the desk and some other lady argued that A) we did not have an appointment, B) they kept trying to pull up my wife's account, C) made the rude comment that if we wanted service we would have to call a Customer Service phone number and set up an account. I do not like dentist. Finally found one I liked, but their finance department is crap. They wanted to charge me $1400 plus after my insurance but never told me I had to agree to everything THAT day or else my new patient discount would be taken away. The lady I sat with even tried to tell me she didn’t know and she had “just found out” herself. It’s not the money, it’s the principal of the service.
Don’t bother confirming your appointment here online from an email you receive from Aspen. It won’t count for anything. I had an appointment scheduled from August/September time frame…..never canceled the appointment myself. I show up well before my appointment time just to be told it was canceled. I was told I would have to wait, and could not be given an exact time of when I would be seen. No priority for me at all. RecommendedThis office is honestly a joke. I've made several phone calls in the last month, waiting for the "treatment plan" because they didn't run my insurance correctly prior to my first appointment. I've left at least 10 voice-mails. I decided to give it another chance today and finally got Cassandra on the phone. She claims to be the one who ran my insurance and says her and her office manager called and left 2 voice-mails for me. Aspen Dental in Mechanicsville is denying that my bill from 2020 was ever paid and sent it collections. My partner paid the card in full. Shady af business. Experience with an extraction there was absolutely horrible. Wasn't fully numb by the time they finally started. Dentist was yanking at the tooth repeatedly in different directions like they were using a plunger. Had to pull shards of tooth that they left broken and sticking up from the gums myself at home. Then had to go back to have the hole stiched up.
Tried 3 times to get a teeth cleaning. 1st time: March, said that the computer was down when I got there and that they couldn’t see me. April, they saw me but wouldn’t do a cleaning. Said they they were short on staff and then did an hour of x rays and 3d printing. May, show up and they say that my appointment wasn’t confirmed and they couldn’t see me. 0/5 stars
Horrible. Deceptive and luring financial baited office. Dismissive in regards to bill, AFTER their proposed treatment plan is completed, where you see just how much you were ripped off. Acting office manager the worst.
I got a partial plate from them. They filed my insurance, United Health Medicare Advantage, wrong prior to pick-up.. I picked up before insurance paid so they said I had to pay $1,645 up front but would get a refund when I durance paid. never got the refund and due to their filing error they withdrew the initial claim but have resubmitted it three more times. Made an appointment last week to get started on doing the Motto Invisalign and when I spoke to someone on the phone, she confirmed they were doing a $1,500 off coupon. I received an email a couple days prior to my appointment about saving an additional $149 if I started my plan before the end of February. When they called the night before my appointment to confirm that and pricing I mentioned the email I received.
