Everyone was nice, at the first visit, from the front desk to the x-ray technician and the dentist. Beautiful office too. My only hesitation is that they don't seem to have enough appointments with dental hygienists or the specialists are only in the office once or twice a month so getting care for more serious issues takes time. Also, the original estimate included an expensive toothbrush without asking if I wanted to purchase one. I had it removed when I found out. I've never been crazy about dentists and I actually have a fear of going to the dentist. I've had a lot of tooth issues and recently had a get a denture. I didn't have my own dentist so I made an appointment at Aspen Dental. The people are very nice and helpful and had nothing but great experiences with them. I highly recommend Aspen Dental.

I'll be the first to review Aspen Dental. I had an appointment today -my second one- to have a few things taken care of. I'm usually nervous when I go to the dentist and I was today too! But some of that is past experiences. I have to say Aspen Dental has a great staff and dentist. The dental hygienist is a very caring and does a terrific job. I made an emergency appointment for my husband with "Stephanie," she was very helpful. It was an emergency as my husbands face was swollen and he was in pain. We gave Stephanie all our information and she told us that Aspen Dental did not take our insurance, but they had a $29.99 special and that they would work with us. I was iffy about it, but he really need to see a dentist. I cracked a tooth so I made an appointment and was told I required a crown for $2,500 (no insurance). I wanted the tooth pulled and the dentist refused. I purchased AARP's Dental Dental insurance, top plan, and the crown was designed and installed, no issues. I paid a deposit upon design and the balance upon installation. A few weeks later I received a bill for an additional charge for a deductible. I had a root canal done here two years back. Ever since I've been experiencing pain on and off. I even went back to get it looked at a few times. Had X-rays redone and they said "everything was fine". I recently started having terrible tooth pain that shouldn't hurt since it was a root canal. Went to a different dentist and I have a huge infection! Where now I need to see a specialist and have this root canal redone! Avoid going here at all costs!!! They completely disregarded my pain. I don't usually write reviews, but felt that this was warranted. The first experience with Aspen dental was good. My dentist in Mahopac retired, and I needed a new dentist. Since the first visit, I had 2 crowns put in by Aspen dental. A week ago, one of the crowns came off. This was the second time this happened, and I called them for an appointment. The Mohegan Lake location could care less at your needs or comfort. I had an emergency my denture broke and I needed a repair. I was told that the first available appointment was in 5 days! I told them it was an emergency and that I had no denture. The office manager had an attitude and were not compassionate or had any empathy for my situation.
