Called to make an appointment at the office in New Philadelphia,Ohio for jaw pain. I spoke with a girl named Brittany and informed her that I think I may have possible TMJ. She told me that they will definitely be able to take care of my situation. I go in the next morning at a few minutes before 8am when she scheduled my appointment and it took approximately 20 before they took me back. Thats typical of any medical office. Don't fall for the free exam !!! They billed my insurance $300 dollars and sent me a bill for $300 dollars!!! It's a complete rip off !!!!
This Dental Office is a Joke !!!! Went there to have 2 teeth pulled, one being a baby tooth, and the other being my last molar on my bottom right side... Dr David Berne was the dentist who I had. He didn’t have no problem getting the baby tooth out, but when it came to the molar let me tell you , he pried and pried and has his tool in his had and pushing down on my bottom lip that it was smashed against my bottom teeth and I was in great pain , and I said something and his assistant said things like that happens.... Office staff was very friendly and efficient. The x-ray tech was efficient but less than friendly. Appointment was covered completely by insurance but it was decided that a filling needed to be replaced. They said it was a possible infection site. This was a procedure not completely covered. Went in for a routine bi-annual cleaning and the cleaning tech was friendly, gentle and reassuring. Next was the filling replacement. Complete waste of time and money!!! They did full mouth x-rays, but the dentist didn't even notice that I have two (2) teeth that have abscesses (previously confirmed by my real dentist). He probably didn't notice because he barely glanced at the x-rays. What he did for an exam was nothing short of ridiculous. It takes more than two (2) minutes to do a thorough exam. I found the exrays we’re done professionally. Pleasant environment. However, after being told my guns and teeth were good but one silver filling was cracked and needed replaced, I was told that my insurance didn’t cover this work and it would be $281. They needed $200 down to schedule the appointment. I paid it. When I got home, I called my insurance company and found out this service was 100% covered! After calling Aspen twice to get this resolved, I drove over and demanded a refund and cancelled my appointment. Sh... read more
Was the worst experience in my life. Was charged for surgerical extractions when there was nothing surgerical about them . Now 7 weeks and 2 visits with abetter Dentist and an appointment with a oral surgeon I hoping we are back on track. Avoid these people like the plague. Assembly line dentistry at it's finest.
Worst dentist I have ever encountered. They made an appointment for us rapidly: then when we got the X-rays and tried to speak to the dentist she dismissed anything we asked about and just walked awY. Next thing the accounts lady came and saw us and it went from bad to worse. We finally went back after 2 months of trying to get a appnt and they charged our insurance co $460.00 to clean a child's teeth!!
