So I originally went in for a cleaning and got a Pre-determination back in April of this year. It was a nightmare as not only did it take months for them to even respond to get the appointment I had to a get a Regional Manager involved to get it settled...well what I thought was settled. Went for the first time in February of this year for a check up and cleaning. That first visit went fairly well. They were suppose to submit a Predetermination for a couple of cavities. When I did not hear back after a month I called and they said they had not heard back from my insurance. I called my insurance and they had not received anything. Don’t use the aspen dental in Newburgh. Office manager told my wife she was not allowed to get the yearly check up fully paid by insurance. Told her she MUST have more expensive service. Gave one price in person then bill shows up for even more. Wife calls to talk this out and when my wife asks her name she hangs up. What type of manager won’t give a name and hangs up? This place is a joke. I made myself and my child a first time appointment. I had to take a up-paid day off of work and my child had to stay home from school. Just for us to get here and for them to tell me that they rescheduled our appointment. Now we also confirmed that they take my child’s insurance when I called to make our appointments. Issue is I wait almost a year to have my insurance start over to find out they billed my insurance for permanent partial dentures and they called them temporary. Last year when I discussed this with the office manager she agreed my insurance would kick in again this year for permanent partial dentures. Spoke with her again this year she was going to call me back to see what she can do that was about 4 weeks ago, called again last week left my name and number still no call back. I am very angry... I paid for over $1300 during my extractions.for.. . Bone smoothing in 3 quads (didn't happen ) and reduction/cutting of the skin/band that was between my upper lip and gum....
Poor service, no empathy, 100% billing-oriented. The worst dental experience ever.
