My son had a tooth ache, and without dental insurance, i was looking around for a better deal than our expensive normal dentist.. I had heard Aspen dental was pretty good, so i gave them a call. the first visit is FREE ! xrays and all! I couldn't believe it! When we got there, everyone was very friendly, and the wait was minimal. The hygienists were very nice, and the Dr. was super nice and informational. RecommendedClass Act office in Topsham!!! After i had a horrible experience in the S Portland office in March 2018 I was hesitant to try another Aspen office but a co-worker told me how awesome she was treated by the staff and Dentist in the Topsham office so I stopped by two Fridays ago, April 28th, just before closing. Sean was very attentive and pleasant to talk to and quickly got me set up for the two extractions I needed for the following Monday, April 30th, at noon. I was hesitant to visit the dentist because I hadn't gone in years. The staff was very friendly and non judgemental but the prices are very high. Even with dental insurance the cost for a root canal and two crowns is going to be over @3000.00. I think they add to the cost to get back what the insurance company won't allow. Dental care is very important, but I think we are at the mercy of companies.

I have always been comfortable with the atmosphere and how the staff treats me, I do have an issue with an out of network dentist (who I like very much and whose care has been wonderful) and only found that out when my insurance let me know that I could be saving more money. If you take someone's insurance plan you should know that they require a network dentist an assign one.

Can't say anything negative about my experience. I am a women of a "certain age" who has not taken very good care of my teeth and I was embarrassed and fearful, but everyone treated me with the utmost respect and assured me every step of the way.
