I looked for a dentist that was accepting my insurance plan. Aspen said they did accept it, so I scheduled my appointment for a cleaning. They said first they have to run a long series of xrays and do a consultation before actually cleaning my teeth. After going through all of that, they told me they couldn't perform the preventative cleaning because I had issues with bacteria on several teeth. Definitely won’t be back. We scheduled the appointment for a swollen lump on my husband jaw that was just getting bigger.. we were told it’s just an infection and we’d be given a treatment plan (my husband had already been on antibiotics for 7 days prior to this visit and it was still growing) we were also told over half of his his teeth needed root canals or just needed to come out and get partials or dentures!! It has taken me weeks to put my experience with Aspen into words. This started as a positive experience, everyone was so friendly and compassionate. I have dentophobia from bad experiences as a child, so before choosing Aspen I met with a coordinator who explained the process from start to finish and listened intently as I described my anxiety. Since then I have had a horrible and painful experience with a total of four call-back requests which went unanswered. The first time was a billing question. The second was after I ha... read more
i went to aspen dental at 71st street tulsa with what started as a very positive experience. they then failed with follow through any time i needed them. i got extractions and a temporary denture. i didn't know how to put it back in. so when i did i used too much adhesive and placed it on raw gums. when i pulled it out i also pulled sutures. i bled for three days without the call back i had requested. i still returned for my next appointment! i had two posts (for crowns) surgically implanted. less than a week later and they ... read more
