This place does not take people into consideration that drive long distances. I have worked in a dental clinic and getting there a couple minutes late does not throw your entire schedule off for the day. There are other circumstances that put you back on track like others arriving early. Never go hear. Head dentist is rude and refuses service because he is in the wrong. Had 345 appointment. Sat in room until 410 and assistant who is nice tells me it will be another 10 minutes until dr can do filing. Says mondays can get busy. I say fine. I’m already missing work and here. Dr comes in 10 mins later and says busy day do you still want filling done or reschedule. They had my husband prepay his entire bill and after submitting to insurance, they’ve yet to refund what they owe. They were recently hacked and when he went in to talk to them about receiving his refund, bringing with him all his billing paperwork with what he paid and what the insurance paid, he was told they couldn’t look backward, only forward, and they refused to help him. I am happy to say he will no longer be going to Aspen Dental.

Just starting with the Wausau office. Receptionist was not very friendly, not rude, but not the type of initial interaction a business wants with customers. Don’t like Aspen’s policy of not taking anyone else’s x-rays no matter how recent. I take that as a scam to get more money from the customer. I have never been treated so badly. They put an implant in incorrectly then sent me to a surgeon to fix it. After the surgeon fixed Chad Schultz mistake at a cost to me of $4100. Aspen tried three times to fit the old denture on the new implant which just didn’t work. At this point I was told by the office manager not to come back the Dr. was done with me and I needed to find a new dentist. I’m stuck with the $4100 bill plus have to pay more to get it fixed correctly.

I called and asked questions before making an appointment with the Wausau location. I went to get a consult for invisilign and I asked if this would cost me anything. the lady said no, it was a free consultation. I show up to my appointment and they right away do a periodontal exam on me and tell me I'm at risk for periodontal disease (my primary dentist has never mentioned this to me) then they told me they couldn't do an invisilign consult on me because they claimed I am not a candidate. a week later i got a bill saying I ... read more
