Everyone at Asphalt Engineering was fantastic from the first phone call to the completion of the job. Office, staff, crew, foreman were all professional, helpful and friendly. A++! Removed asphalt driveway. Prepped for new driveway. Laid new driveway.

Perfect job, very happy! Punctual and always responded to questions and concerns. Used backhoe to remove entire driveway. Added sand and gravel to correct grade. Put down first layer of asphalt - let it cure for a few days and added top coat. Removed existing driveway. Built up soil-sand-gravel. Paved driveway.

They were excellent in everything. They had a big crew of people, so that they were able to get the job done quickly. They also had a lot of machines. The driveway looks fantastic. The price was reasonable. It wasn't the lowest quote I got, but it was average. The only problem is one of their big trucks were leaking oil and it's all on the street in front of my house. The work performed was very good quality. They are not the least expensive but the quality was good. They suggested that I have the driveway sealed within 9-12 months to protect the asphalt. I scheduled the sealcoating for Nov 2014 including a signed estimate. They called in Oct 2014 to reschedule it for June 2015. I was concerned with waiting this long but agreed to schedule it for June 11th 2015. As of June 5th, I had not heard from AE and wanted to again confirm the schedule. The crew arrived on time, both when grading and later when paving. They completed each job professionally with great equipment & skill in about 2 hrs. Left a nice clean work area, were polite and informative. This includes the estimator & office staff. Highly recommend! Removed old driveway asphalt. Graded & replaced with new asphalt.

The job was done over two days. The first day, they excavated and removed the old driveway, extended it by six feet, and compacted it. A few days later, they returned and put down gravel and asphalt. They did a very good job, and it was fun to watch all the trucks at work. They came on time and did everything they agreed to do. I'm very happy with the new driveway. They excavated my old driveway, extended it by 6 feet, and paved it.

I contracted for Asphalt Engineering to remove my old driveway, install a drainage basin which would drain into a rock bed surrounding my shed at the foot of the driveway, grade for best drainage, add sub base as needed,and install 2" basecoat and 2" topcoat. Unfortunately, there was a miscommunication somewhere down the line. I signed an agreement last fall to do this because they ran out of time in their paving/sealing season to fit me in. (That ended up being a good thing, as I scraped the h*** out of my driveway this winter.) I was a little annoyed that I had to initiate contact this spring (thus my B for responsiveness), but they fit me in within a reasonable amount of time.
