The staff are so friendly and the vets are so amazing with my dog. My puppy actually loves going to the vet! Sometimes she even gets grumpy if we are out for a walk and pass by without stopping in.
Thanks to the team at Ponsonby and Herne Bay Vets for taking such great care of my boy during his dental surgery yesterday, for always keeping me informed and for understanding just how special he is. Special shout out to James the vet who by giving clear information and a definitive quote enabled me to finally get those teefs sorted. The staff at Ponsonby Vet are very friendly and helpful and their Best for Pet is also worth joining.
Saved my cat's life when she had a very aggressive form of cancer. They were caring and thoughtful, offered multiple options, clearly had done their research because they had answers to every weird question I asked. Went above and beyond. My weirdo stay-at-home cat even got to the point where she didn't mind going to the vet, even though she underwent two operations there - clearly she was treated with love while she was there. Thanks team, you were all amazing.

Amazing, caring, thorough and professional team centrally located with inviting premises, centrally located in Ponsonby, and open 7 days a week. Highly recommended. Recently visited to care for our 16yr old Lhasa Apso, and thanks to a thorough examination and blood tests, and a surprise diagnosis of extremely high blood pressure severely impacting her quality of life (not just old age); 2 weeks later she is back to her old self and much more active.
