RecommendedDr. Kern and the staff at the Marble Falls office are amazing. Dr. Kern made me feel perfectly comfortable and answered all of my questions. I was especially terrified of my jaw popping out of place (I had a horrific horse riding accident in 2006 where part of my surgery and recovery was to have my jaws wired shut.) RecommendedDr Kern and his staff made the time required for an implant painless! A wonderful and encouraging group of people.
UPDATE: I finally got through and got in to be seen on the following Tuesday. I called on Monday and again asked to speak to someone and never got a callback. My own dentist told me to go back to the surgeon, so on Tuesday a week after the surgery I got in to see him. It was a dry socket. He irrigated it and put medicated material in to help shield the bare nerve. The nurse gave me a tube of Sock-It, a hydrogel for mouth wounds, and a irrigation syringe. RecommendedHad a tooth pulled about 10 AM. 6:15 PM now. Still no pain.
Felt like I was on an assembly line, also no bedside manner. When I told them I wasn’t taking anesthesia, attitudes changed .
